Stephen Wright

Stephen Wright is a Paris-based writer and professor of the practice of theory at the European School of Visual Arts. His writing has focused on the use-value and usership of art, particularly in contexts of collaborative, extradisciplinary practices with impaired coefficients of artistic visibility challenging the conceptual architecture of modernist institutions. His current research focuses particularly on contemporary escapological theory and practice. On the editorial advisory committee of the journal Third Text, a selection of his writings in English may be found on the collective blog n.e.w.s.
