Paola Yacoub and Michel Lasserre started working together since 2000. In 2004/2005, they received the D.A.A.D artist’s program fellowship.

Paola Yacoub Michel Lasserre’s numerous exhibitions include Stand der Dinge , Kunst-Werke, Berlin (2000); the Venice Biennial (2000 & 2003); Fundacio Antoni Tapies, Barcelona (2002); Witte de White Center for Contemporary Art, Rotterdam (2003); Busan Biennial (2004); 1^st Berlin Photography Festival, Martin-Gropius-Bau, Berlin (2005); Gwangju Biennial (2006); Thessaloniki Biennale (2007); O.C.A.T, Shenzhen (2008).

Their essays were anthologized in the publication Beirut is a Magnificent City: Synoptic Tables, published by the Fundació Antoni Tàpies, Barcelona (2003).
